Hello, I’m Michael Webster and I’ve quickly thrown together this page to show a bit of my history as a journalist and digital media producer. I’m aware that the work I’m showing here is not the most up-to-date, but I have kept up and significantly improved on my video shooting and editing skills. I think these links demonstrate my skills and potential as a Digital Media Journalist here in the tri-state area, but if you’d like to see more, or give me a freelance assignment to show what I can do today, just let me know.
I genuinely love meeting people, telling their stories, reporting on community issues and have the visual storytelling skills to get a lot of likes, shares, and attention. You will not find someone more dedicated to producing the highest quality work and sharing it extensively on social media and other platforms.
Business Promo Videos
These are a couple videos I did for local businesses a few years ago with an old iPhone, I think a 4s, but maybe an SE. They demonstrate shooting, editing and storytelling skills. Hopefully it will give you a good idea of what I can do with proper equipment and a platform and the experience that comes with producing a lot of content daily. And if you like, I’m open to doing a freelance assignment to show what I can do today.
Print Stories
Here are a few links to a few local print stories I’ve done in recent years. You’ll see I can do light entertaining writing or in depth journalism. But I think it also demonstrates my ability to generate local stories and bring unique, interesting perspectives to them, and the quality of the photography gives you some idea of the quality of the quality of videos I can produce.
Regarding the Visit Posey County Link, I created the website and produced all of the original content, which consisted of stories about all the places of interest and local businesses.
